I did a blog post about Amy owner of Hong Kong Greeters in March 2025 and a year ago in 2024.
I have been great friends with Amy for well over a decade now and quite often she will pick me up for an awesome ride in her new car and we will explore new interesting spots in Hong Kong and have a lovely lunch
Amy’s talent and great strength is obvious, she listens to what her guests say and modifies her tour offerings accordingly, her priority has always been private tours but group tours and themed group tours have been added to the list as well and Amy’s collaboration with Angel a major Hong Kong travel influencer on Instagram was a stroke of genius.

Blog posts - what can I say, a lot of small companies simply do not do blog posts on a regular basis (I am up to one a day for the past 3 - 4 months!), I have always been an active blogger dispensing words of wisdom (!) and information about Hong Kong, I have always recognised the importance of doing them, it helps that I have no problem putting together a coherent blog post.
I know a lot of tour companies around the world simply put together generic posts full of keywords for Google SEO and never stop to think about if the subject matter is interesting and informative and these days I could not care less about keywords, what is important is the content, is it relevant and interesting! plus it allows me to comment on a regular basis on Hong Kong and Hong Kong Tourism, I have lived in Hong Kong for 53 years.
Amy is so busy running tour and looking after her family that she has limited time to do blog posts, something that I completely understand, there are times when I just cannot be bothered doing one, they can take a couple of hours at a minimum and some can take 5 - 6 hours if I need to do some research and some days I am totally afflicted by writers block and some days I can do 4 in one go!
