Yep, it is all about knowing Hong Kong and Ashley KNOWS Hong Kong
The blurb below is the text from my original blog post about Ashley, I have since spent some time with Ashley (for some reason we always end up meeting in January!) and gosh what can I say, other than she is one of the kindest, sweetest young ladies walking this earth.
Ashley is a real Hong Konger - operating as a Private Tour Guide in Hong Kong since 2017 or so
A born and bred Hong Konger, fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, Ashley is also fluent in English which makes her very popular indeed with foreign tourists, in some ways Ashley is a quite like me in her quest for knowledge which translates into giving her guests the very best experience they can have whilst in Hong Kong.
I first met Ashley in January 2018 after she contacted me for some assistance with an issue she was having with Tripadvisor, the problem was solved and we spent some time together and since then I have done my very best to give her as much help as I can.
One of the functions of our Private Tour Guide Group is to share knowledge and resolve any issues that crop up
Ashley has been running her operation as Running Panda Private Tours Hong Kong which you will no doubt see popping up on her website and social media feeds, I think Ashley M Private Tours nails it much better!
You really need to spend some time reading Ashley’s Tripadvisor reviews, as of March 18th 2025, 233 x 5 star reviews out of 233! which is really quite incredible but from my perspective not surprising at all, Ashley really knows how to look after her guests.
Ashley is one of those rare and for want of a better word “local” tour guides who is not just about food tours, her knowledge of Hong Kong is absolutely top notch, she soaks up knowledge like a sponge.
… oh and ask her about the Palace Museum in Hong Kong! Ashley did a lot of docent work for the Museum in Hong Kong which is a world class institution.
Not for a second am I over hyping Ashley, she really is that good and you will have a wonderful time on one (or two!) of her Private Hong Kong Tours.
oh… and did I mention Ashley is such a wonderful young lady!
This is Ashley who along with my other great friend and brilliant Private Tour Guide Amy of Hong Kong Greeters treated me to a birthday lunch at The Peak Lookout Restaurant at Victoria Peak in Hong Kong, we had a wonderful meal.
