My 28 Favourite Mercedes Benz Car images Hong Kong

Mercedes Benz - BENZ | One of my all time favourites - the G Wagen

Mercedes Benz - ME | One of my favourite cars with a mighty V8 Bi Turbo engine….. vrooooooom!

I am a leading expert in Hong Kong on the Car Vanity Plate Culture also known as Personalised Car Licence Plate Culture which garners worldwide attention particularly at Chinese New Year in Hong Kong and I have also taken over 103,000 + images of cars in Hong Kong, it is a thing!

Hong Konger’s love their cars and luxury cars in particular are highly prized and shown off, as well they should.

My thing for Mercedes Benz started in 1972, when we arrived in Hong Kong, I noticed that the roads where filled with Mercedes Benz cars, it was quite something… I tried to persuade my old man to get one but he was adamant that he wanted a Jaguar and that was that, we got the Jaguar.

I rather like Mercedes Cars, a brand that will always be linked with the Sporty Luxury Car Segment, who doesn’t! and I have to say if you are a fan you will NOT be disappointed in Hong Kong, Mercedes Benz dominates the many categories of the Sporty Luxury car segment but it is nice to see all the major European brands in Hong Kong and big numbers as well, there are approximately 70,000+ Mercedes Benz cars in Hong Kong which is a quite a staggering figure for a small city bettered only by Toyota and yes as usual, ANY colour seems to be the most popular colour! there are some very creative colour schemes out there although I always think a Mercedes Benz looks best in white or black.

I have watched with dismay at the emergence of EV’s and Mercedes Benz are at the forefront of bringing our and dominating the electric car market, honestly a lot of the new design Mercedes Benz EV’s are just awful, they have lost something in my humble opinion, anyone who is a fan (ie me) of the Mercedes Benz AMG Black series will know what I mean and for me one of the great joys of life is that V8 engine rumble and cackle as a G Wagen goes by and do not get me started on the awesome V 12 engines (a lot of Pagani’s the Italian hyper car are powered by AMG engines), most of them will disappear over the next 10 years or so.

The images are in no particular order and it was a seriously difficult and lengthy task to choose 28 images from my 20,800+ Mercedes Benz images - Hong Konger’s worship Mercedes Benz and I am very fond of the AMG series and the Maybachs!

Enjoy
