My 28 Favourite Porsche Car images Hong Kong

The Truly Amazing Luxury Car Culture in Hong Kong

Porsche - HOUSE | One of my favourites - the GT 3 RS

Porsche - TU 169 | One of my favourites - the Porsche 911 Turbo

I am a leading expert in Hong Kong on the Car Vanity Plate Culture also known as Personalised Car Licence Plate Culture which garners worldwide attention particularly at Chinese New Year in Hong Kong and I have also taken over 103,000 + images of cars in Hong Kong, it is a thing!

Hong Konger’s love their cars and luxury cars in particular are highly prized and shown off, as well they should.

My love affair with Porsche started in 1970, 2 years prior to moving to Hong Kong, I had got a ride in one that was owned by a newsagent (I delivered papers for him in the early morning) and it was a rally spec early model 911 and from that moment I have worshipped the Porsche Brand

On the whole I rather like Porsche Cars, a brand that will always be linked with the Sporty Luxury Car Segment, who doesn’t! and I have to say if you are a fan you will NOT be disappointed in Hong Kong, Porsche dominates the Sporty Luxury car segment but it is nice to see all the major European brands in Hong Kong and big numbers as well, there are approximately 14,950 Porsches in Hong Kong which is a huge figure for a small city and yes as usual, ANY colour seems to be the most popular colour! (2 tone is popular) There are some very creative colour schemes out there although I am not sure about the odd pink ones I see every now and then.

I should also make clear that I am not really a fan of the Cayenne or the Macan (but boy can they accelerate!) the sporty SUV’s and some other sporty Porsche variants I ignore and do not get me started on EV Porsches, a Porsche was born to rocket you to an amazing speed with a full throated roar, the EV models which are very stylish just sneak up on you, personal opinion of course for me and being an old geezer I appreciate petrol | gas engines - give me a 911 Turbo or the GT 3 RS any day of week.

I always get very excited when I see the 911 range and how the models have changed over the years, they are very distinctive with a lovely engine noise and always that quite aggressive and HUGE profile for the models with a rear wing, that sets them apart from the more traditional sporty luxury brands in Hong Kong…. as much as I love Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and such I would still prefer to have a Porsche 911 Turbo or the GT 3 RS.

The images are in no particular order and it was a seriously difficult and lengthy task to choose 28 images from my 11,300+ Porsche images - who doesn’t worship PORSCHE and I am very fond of the original 911 model which was very distinctive not to mention difficult to drive handling wise! I have probably photographed well over 60% of Porsche cars in Hong Kong!

Enjoy
